I don’t often live blog. But here I am in San Antonio at SRI in the Rockies, the annual conference for socially responsible investing professionals. This is my eighth conference. It’s great to be with friends and colleagues who are at once informed about the challenges we face and optimistic about meeting them.
Last night we heard from Bill Shireman, CEO of The Future 500, talking about building coalitions among NGO’s, business and politicians to solve difficult problems. This morning’s eloquent keynote, on the world water crisis, was delivered by Maude Barlow, National Chairperson, Council of Canadiens.
